Overnight: Wilpattu

After arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, proceed towards Wilpattu via Negombo, depending on your arrival time.

Enjoy a Negombo City Tour, exploring this charming coastal city known for its beaches, colonial heritage, churches, Dutch Fort and historic canal system.

Visit a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan (Kataragama), featuring colourful traditional-inspired architecture and intricate carvings.

Continue to Wilpattu and check in to your accommodation.

Overnight: Sigiriya

Start the morning with a Wilpattu National Park Safari, approximately around 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM.

Explore one of Sri Lanka’s oldest and most scenic national parks, famous for its natural landscapes, wildlife and numerous natural lakes known as villus.

After the safari, continue towards Sigiriya.

Visit the impressive Avukana Buddha Statue, an ancient standing Buddha statue measuring more than 14 metres in height.

Later, climb Sigiriya Lion Rock and enjoy a spectacular sunset from this iconic ancient rock fortress.

Overnight: Sigiriya

After breakfast, travel to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s historic second capital.

Explore the fascinating archaeological ruins, including ancient monuments, stupas, Buddha statues, stone carvings and the magnificent Gal Vihara.

Enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan Village Experience, including a traditional wooden boat ride, bullock-cart experience and a visit to a rural village house. Discover local daily life and taste traditional snacks.

Optional: Visit Pidurangala Rock for an incredible panoramic view of Sigiriya Rock, particularly around sunset.

Return to Sigiriya for the night.

Overnight: Kandy

After breakfast, proceed towards Kandy.

On the way, visit the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple and Golden Temple, featuring ancient Buddhist statues and paintings.

Continue to Nalanda Gedige, an ancient stone temple displaying distinctive Dravidian architectural influences.

Later, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy, one of Sri Lanka’s most important cultural and religious landmarks.

Overnight: Colombo

After breakfast, visit the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.

Continue to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe elephants being cared for, fed and bathed.

Visit Giragama Tea Factory to learn more about Sri Lanka’s famous tea industry and its rich tea heritage.

Afterwards, proceed to Colombo and enjoy the city’s evening atmosphere and nightlife.
